What content is not allowed?

Do not submit false, misleading, offensive, abusive, copied, spammy, illegal, or harmful content. Do not impersonate another person or business, submit fake reviews, make false business claims, or upload evidence you are not allowed to share.

What are the rules for reviews?

Reviews should be based on a genuine experience or useful community knowledge. Fake reviews, paid reviews that are not disclosed, competitor attacks, harassment, private personal information, and irrelevant comments may be rejected or removed.

What are the rules for claiming a business?

Only claim a business if you own it, manage it, work for it with authority, or have a genuine right to manage the listing. LocalGuideX may request evidence, reject claims, reverse ownership, or suspend access if a claim appears false.

What are the rules for business listings?

Business listings should be accurate, useful, and lawful. Business owners are responsible for keeping details current, including phone numbers, addresses, opening hours, websites, offers, and service information.

What are the rules for rewards and payouts?

Rewards are intended for useful, genuine community contributions. Points, bonuses, payout eligibility, and payout requests may be reviewed, adjusted, declined, delayed, or cancelled if submissions are low quality, duplicated, misleading, abusive, or suspicious.

What are the rules for paid promotions?

Promotion requests are subject to review and payment confirmation. LocalGuideX may reject, pause, remove, or adjust promoted placements if payment cannot be verified, the listing is not approved, or the content breaches platform rules.

Can LocalGuideX remove content or restrict accounts?

Yes. LocalGuideX may edit, reject, unpublish, remove, or restrict content and accounts to protect users, businesses, platform quality, security, legal compliance, and community trust.

Can users scrape or copy the directory?

No. Do not scrape, bulk copy, harvest, resell, or misuse directory data, contact details, reviews, or contributor information without written permission from LocalGuideX.

Is LocalGuideX responsible for business services?

LocalGuideX is a directory and community platform. We do not guarantee the quality, availability, pricing, licensing, advice, or services provided by listed businesses. Users should make their own checks before contacting or purchasing from a business.
